Gangway Platform
The Gurskøy Gangway Platform allows the gangway to rotate 180 degrees, from alongside ship pointing forward, to alongside ship pointing aft. This enables the gangway to lie closer to the side of the ship, freeing up space on the quay while also increasing safety during embarkation.
Mounting
Mounting of platform is quick and easy. Platform holding-brackets of steel or aluminium are welded or screwed to deck. Alternative bolted brackets allows the platform to be moved if necessary.
Platform main components are aluminium, with parts in stainless and galvanised steel.
The Gurskøy Gangway Platform has optional accessories that add to its flexibility.

Gurskøy PTS
Gurskøy PTS (Platform Tilting System) allows the Gurskøy Platform to be easily and safely tilted in and out by one person. When tilting outwards, the system provides a counterforce that enables the platform to tilt in a slow and controlled manner. When the platform is tilted back up into the vertical position, the spring system assists with around 80% of the force required. The PTS is entirely mechanical and based on spring loading.
The system can be retrofitted.
Platform Swing Arm
Platform Swing Arm is designed for use in doorways or gateways where a platform is required, but where access need to be closed when vessel`s at sea. With the Swing Arm installed, the platform can in upright position be turned inwards and to the side. Swing Arm is equipped with a support and locking device for stowing in the upright position.
The swing arm is easy to install.
